I'm trying to decide whether to:

A) deleted my LJ entirely

B) continue what I've been doing and crosspost the DW posts I make to LJ. Possibly disable commenting over there, so as only to get comments on DW.

C) leave my LJ as is, but stop crossposting

Decisions, decisions

(I backed it up on DW during one of the earlier panics. All that's purely on LJ are a number of comments on posts made after that. And honestly? My LJ experience hasn't been lively in years).

Same here. I would love so much to delete entirely, yet half of SPN fandom is still lingering there, and is not disturbed greatly by the new ToS. Which lasts only until all LGBTQA+ posts are force-deleted, though. And it will happen.

So I'm torn between deleting all my posts and keep only the user name, no cross posting, so I can go visit. Or deleting everything, journal included.

I've considered LJ rotten since 2007, and don't understand how people are still supporting it, *hands*.

I crosspost but have disabled commenting there for years. There are a half-dozen or so people who primarily or exclusively post there, whose journals I read, but these days I only check the site maybe twice a week (as opposed to DW's multiple times daily). I'm reluctant to completely delete because I have a permanent account, and thus photos (all my fannish photos/images, including art for my fics), and because crossposting makes it easier for LJ-people to read my journal and so I keep a 2-way street going. But I don't know yet what I'm going to do.

(I'm kind of out of the fannish mainstream anyway because I don't have a tumblr.)

I'm currently doing C), but wonder whether I should do A) instead. I mean, all my journal posts are imported. I think what's holding me back is that I have posts in various communities and I'd lose control of those. And also there are comms that I somehow feel responsible for saving (I've been trying to get hold of some comm owners/maintainers to get them to import to DW).
