Thank you

[livejournal.com profile] j_daffodil , it has arrived - safe and sound. And it's working just fine - at least the whole 10 minutes I had time to watch today. Ah, but there was adorably cute Jack Davenport in those minutes :-) *looks forward to tomorrow and more time and hopefully more adorable Jack Davenport in naval uniform*

I'm so glad its working! He's really good in this - so conflicted and angsty.

Yep, working just fine :-)

Random and possibly a little odd question: Does Australian television always rate the stuff they show? Just struck me as, well, strange, you see. Hence the question.

I think every show has a classification but if you mean the thing that comes up before the show starts that says "This show contains Adult Themes etc etc"? - it only comes on before a show where they feel it is necessary to warn viewers of the content.

The rating system used to be more general, similar to the cinema where it is just G, MA etc but then people must've started complaining so they started to be more specific. Now it has a classification plus a "Consumer Advice" which covers things like Language, Violence, Sex, Drug Use and more obscure stuff like Medical Themes, Supernatural, Horror and Nudity where necessary.
