Actually, yes. If for no other reason than the wolf is still one of a kind, but apparently mooses (meese? what is the plural of moose anyway?) take the swim every few decades and never actually get around to staying as a species, despite noone actually trying to discourage them. On the other hand, wolves were actively hunted to extinction in DK nearly 200 years ago and if they come back, they'd probably be a considerably smaller threat to traffik than a moose, if nothing else (I remember a few years ago reading about a moose vs. bicyclist in Sweden that ended with the moose running of with the bicycle).
Also, wolves are cooler than mooses. Just look at the media representations of them. Also, I might have had a weak spot for them since I was a little kid reading Jack London...
