Still not convinced of it being a brilliant idea.

You know, I'm beginning to wonder at the PotC movies inability to keep the same females - and I am still missing Anamaria :-( Also, I worry that this Angelica is going to be one of those boring make-a-girlfriend-as-awesome-as-the-hero characters, which is something that hardly ever turns out well. Just saying. Of course, it doesn't help that they apparently can't seem handle having more than one important female in each movie...

Mind you, I'm curious about how the hell Barbossa is going to wind up in the Navy? (and I really, really wish I had been able to find a clip with better sound than this - dammit, I can't hear what Sparrow is saying in these clips)

And they're apparently already planning 5 and 6 - and I am probably going to wind up going to see each and every one, even as my fangirl heart mourns for all the potential lost somewhere along the way...

There is a tiny bit of an interview with Johnny Depp over here, where he claims that there will be situations in the new movies that Jack Sparrow is unable to talk his way out of. I simply do not believe that is possible.
