Part of me wants to sign up for the Sam/Gabriel mini-bang - 5000 words shouldn't be unattainable, and a couple of months would surely be enough, and it would be beyond awesome to have a fic of mine with actual art attached.

Of course, there's the fact that my summer is going to include certain stressfull RL things, and anyway, I don't have an idea - though sign-ups aren't closed yet, so I have time to have one. So maybe. Maybe.

I was watching a Dirch Passer movie the other night, and it occurred to me that there's a whole bunch of the old Danish folk-comedies that would make excellent, if cracky crossover material with more modern and internationally wel-known canons - of course, I'm probably not going to be writing any - I mean, for one thing, how many people would get them? - but seriously.

For instance, imagine a Supernatural / Baronessen fra benzintanken crossover. Never mind how the Winchesters wind up in Denmark, but first they'd get yelled at for trying to exorcise the friendly castle ghost and then no doubt the now elderly Baroness Anne and Dean would bond over cars. Which reminds me, I really need to rewatch that movie, it's been years since last time.

Just spotted that Supernatural season 5 starts in Danish tv on wednesday - and is apparently sufficiently far down the sacred totempole of awesome tvseries in the channel's humble opinion to be every weekday afternoon rather than late one night a week, so that's good - of course, since I work it will have to be recorded, but that's what a recorder's for, right? Of course, actually getting around to occasionally watching the stuff I record might be an idea - I think I'm running out of space...
