And while I'll never ever be close to half as good as him, then, well, a girl can dream, can't she? And on that note, I'll just be doing the five fics meme, gacked from pretty much all and sundry.
WRITER'S MEME: Sometimes it's ok to pimp yourself out. Post a list of the top five favorite fics you've written, regardless of fandom or the reason you love them. This isn't about the BEST things you've written, but what you LOVE most. Then tag five other people to do the same.
Forvent det uventede / Expect the Unexpected. Short and not really that grand a story, but I wrote it first in Danish, making it the only Danish fan fiction I have managed. I really ought to write more, since there really isn't enough out there, seen from this Dane's point of view. Besides, every once in a while someone Danish actually seems to find it and read it, and it makes me a little bit happy every time.
Falling into Heaven, Falling into Hell. My big WIP which I both love and hate. I'll finish it, I promise. It's just, I know this story. I've known it for quite some time now. And while I love this Jack and James, and really ought to get around to actually letting them have some action in a chapter's time or two, well. Besides, DMC made this whole thing more AU than it already was, of course - especially since I already had background and stuff thought up, which I'm not changing, even if I haven't put the words down yet. Ah, but soon, I hope, soon, my precious.
Perhaps. I blame this little story on Neal Stephenson and his Jack Shaftoe, understood? And it's written somewhat clumsily in places, but, well, I like it anyway. No specific reason, really, I just do.
Anacreon's Wine. One of the first fan fics I wrote, and I like it in part because I think it's sweet. Several of my other stories seem to have been going dark or sad places, but this makes me a little bit happy, even if it is neither long nor particularly clever.
