It's a princess. A tiny little Danish princess - which this generation of royals was due for and then some. Of course, we're not going to see as much as a glimpse of her for days and we're not going to hear her name for months (my bet is that one of them will be Ingrid...).

Finally, so many boys in this generation!
I'd wager another of them will be Margrethe.

Well, it'll almost have to be, in case she ever has to be the queen. Besides, her grandmother has both Ingrid and Margrethe as names, so there is precedent.
Now, as long as they don't name the poor kid Thorhildur...
