and, well, I did, and it was fun. Imagine taking Jules Verne's "Around the world in 80 days", adding a little James Bond, a little western and a little Pirates of the Caribbean, mixing in plenty of jokes about the two most important things in life ( a) sex and b) politics) as well as some goodnatured ones about the royals, add enough crossdressing to make it easily mistaken for one of Shakespeare's comedies and more popcultural references than you can shake a stick at, stirr with music and some fairly - impressive - costumes and bake in general crazyness. That would be this year's CCC. It was quite entertaining (oh, not the most entertaining CCC I've had the pleasure of seeing, but great fun anyway).

So, it had been a nice day. Seeing the CCC, having spent some time wandering the Tivoli Christmas Market before the CCC (is it just me, or do they open earlier every year?). Of course, my mood got somewhat spoiled when I got off the train and went up to where I had parked my moped, only to find that someone had apparently tried to steal it. The padlock was ruined and parts of the moped had been - twisted?. I wound up having to call for help (involving some way to get the padlock off, basically) and this was around midnight. Damn. :-( Ah well, at least the padlock had done its job and the moped still works. Why anybody would want to steal the damn thing is beyond me, anyway. I bought it when I was in gymnasium, so it's hardly new, and the only thing nice about it is the nice dark blue colour.

The world is crazy. That's it. The world is crazy and the CCC is the only thing sane in this universe. That makes sense.
