That's how a movie I saw recently begins. Of course I don't. I'm not nearly old enough to remember the only 9th april that you can't even be bothered to add a year to, not nearly old enough to remember the occupation and the resistance, the embarrasing, but perhaps necessary cooperation of the government, the rescue of the Danish jews, the five damned years and the whipped cream front. Not nearly old enough. Fortunately.
12. Mord i Paradis (Murder in Paradise)
Hardboiled Danish crime mystery = silly. Hardboiled Danish crime mystery with everybody except hero and spunky lawyer chick speaking with thick jutlandish accents = sillier.
13. Flammen og Citronen (The Flame and the Lemon)
The movie I was referring to, about freedom fighters during the Occupation. Honestly, it could have been better - it's too long and the story is confusing and the casting... Something is wrong when my favourite character can be the Gestapo leader.
Random thought: what is the difference between a freedom fighter and a terrorist? Is there truly any, apart from which side they are on compared to you?
