Danish tv finally got around to showingthe first episode of New Amsterdam tonight. Personally I think it looks perfectly entertaining, which makes me annoyed that it's apparently not even going to be continued past the first eight episodes. Ah well, c'est la vie.

Random thought: a guy spends 350 years searching for the one. Don't get me wrong, but surely even if said guy is completely straight, surely it might at one point occur to him that the one for him might not be a girl... or maybe I'm just thinking with my slash-goggles on.

I've seen all eight eps, as I got it through the American iTunes Store (I thought the lead actor looked familiar, but it never occurred to me he was Danish!). It's good, well worth watching, but a) I am disappointed as well that it's 8 eps and done, and b) especially now that I've been watching so much Torchwood, I'm seriously disappointed they didn't make him bi.
