I can't seem to decide if I am worried or not about a movie version of Elfquest. I mean, they were great comics and I'd love to watch them as a great movie  - but I'm not sure I trust Hollywood to do right by the canonically bisexual, polyamorous elves and not just turn it into yet another excuse for cool computer animation and little else...

OMG YAY!!!! However, the story's been "about to be turned into a movie" ever since 1980! I'll believe it when I see it.

I've been a fan of Elfquest since it was still in its original comics run in the late 1970's. It helped inform my beliefs around polyamory when I was a teen.

You have a very good point about the myriad ways this world could be butchered by Hollywood, though.

Ack... I don't think Hollywood could ever do Elfquest justice. Could or WOULD.

I'm scared.
