Summer at last

I can sit and look out my window and see blue skies - hardly a cloud - and a bright, warm sun. Just a tiny little breeze - just enough that the heat does not get to be unpleasant. In short - it is a perfect summer day - and it was about time! I mean, summer should have started weeks ago - but instead it has been rain, rain, rain, cloudy day - oops, I meant more rain. I don´t think I have ever experienced a summer as wet as this. Today I was at a kræmmermarked (which various dictionaries tell me should be translated as a flea market or a hucksters´ market - I wonder if either are a good translation - oh, well *shrug*) and the ground was soft, like walking on a fairly firm mattress. Now, usually, this time of year, a field like those they use for the markets is usually hard as stone - dry and dusty. Not this time. Oh well, it was a very nice market - I even found a place that sold cross stitch charts (I have to stop looking for them - now I have Johnny Depp, some medieval thingies and a English-style foxhunt - and yet I doubt I can stop).

Hmmm, heat is lovely - speaking of heat and lovely, last night I watched this movie called Original Sin with Antonio Banderas. All I can say is: evil movie. It is a very steamy melodrama - the plot was twisting to the point of cliché and the story was not really that interesting - but it had a naked Antonio :-) And I call it evil why? Because they kept teasing me - first all his back, then the front (in a glorious scene where he opens a set of double doors in the face of a suitor of his wife´s) and of course the camera is very strategically placed - damn to the depths American movie makers and their rating system and their sensibilities or whatever I am supposed to call it. :-(

But still, it is summer and I am practically dancing...
