(no subject)

So, Prince Joachim and Princess Alexandra of Denmark are getting a divorce - which is sad, but on the other hand, I suppose it would be worse to live in a marriage that is not working.

There has been articles in the gossip magazines about how the marriage was going badly and all, but I never really paid them much attention - just assumed that it was the gossip rags having nothing better to write about, so they had to make stuff up.

Then again, though we danes seem to like getting married, then we also seem to like getting divorced.

My only sincere hope is that it does not turn into some kind of English royal scandal wannabee along the way (and my second only sincere hope is that the Crown Prince and Crown Princess does not get inspired...)
