I got to see my sister's new apartment yesterday - my sister and her boyfriend's new apartment, to be more precise. You see, she's been living in this claustrophobia-enducing apartment near Aarhus because she was studying over there, but this year she finished and now they have gotten themselves a really nice apartment in the vicinity of Copenhagen. And I do mean really nice. It needs some paint and some furniture, but it's nice.
Reason I got to see it was that we - me and my parents - had to pick up my sister and her boyfriend, because we were all going to my cousin's 30th birthday, and they don't have a car. They could have taken the train, but... Anyway, so, we went to my cousin's birthday. I should mention that I don't have a lot of family, or, to be more precise, I don't have contact with a lot of family. And what family there is, well, a lot of it we don't see very often. So, my cousin, his sister and their parents had come over for a visit - thinking back, I think it must have been years since last we saw them. They live in the other end of the country, so we don't see them a lot, so it was nice. Anyway. My cousin's apartment is tiny and we were ten people, but it was nice. He had expressed a lack of desire for pepper mills, so my mother gave him a plant she has managed to grow from the seed of a green pepper. It probably won't last, but it's the thought that counts.
Anyway, it was a nice day... (and I really need to stop using that word...)
