So, DADT has been - whatever is the world for go away and stay away when it comes to policies. Whatever. And that's great. Huzzah! Let the celebratory coming out fanfic from appropriate fandoms flow!

Still doesn't keep me from finding the Danish media talking about how the US will now allow "bøsser" in the army vaguely amusing... I mean, what have they been using? Swords? Pikes? Shuriken?

Note for non-Danish speakers: in Danish, a "bøsse" is a) a gay man, b) a somewhat oldfashioned word for a gun of the rifle-like type and a couple of other things, not relevant to this post.
