I wish I was writing more, fanfic or original, but at the moment I simply have no ideas pushing at the insides of my brain to get out. At least not urgently enough. I wish I did.
It doesn’t help that I am currently at 99 fics on my AO3 account, so whichever fanfic I write next will be my number 100, and I might be suffering from a slight case of performance anxiety (even though at least one of those 99 fics are a collection of ultra-short fics, so maybe not technically, but still), which is ridiculous and conceited, I know.
On the other hand, if I don’t get around to writing something of my own accord, my next fic could end up being whatever I end up writing for yuletide this year, and while some of those fics I am quite proud of, others I’m not, and I can’t really predict what this year will bring, you know? I don’t think I’d want that to be my next, though.
