Just come home from watching Thor and I'll admit, it's definitely one of the more entertaining Marvel movies. Which is not to say that I was not guilty of a few unattractive snorts along the way due to the random butchering of Norse myth, and insufficient explanations for same. But mostly fun and laid back and I'm looking forward to watching Thor interact with the other Marvel heroes in future movies.

Mind you, I'd really like to know why they made Laufey Loki's father? Dear Marvel, what's with the genderswitch? Or am I supposed to interpret it as the jotun being a race of hermaphrodites?
