Yep, definitely unsettling. All the media coverage at the moment is on the situation.

And now reports of a shooting at a youth camp? How horrible to hear about this happening in such a typically peaceful country. Unfortunately, here in the US, these things happen much more frequently....

Oh how awful! And Norway, of all places that have done nothing to the rest of the world.

Yes, one of the left-wing parties had a youth camp at an island - having set the bomb in Oslo, the madman disguised himself as a cop, went to the island and started shooting...

92 deaths so far. That's horrible no-matter how peaceful or not a country it happens in.

Very awful. And I find it very, very scary, considering how similar Denmark and Norway are...

And as it turns out, it has nothing to do with the rest of the world, at least not directly - the early assumptions of a standard evil Muslim terrorist attack was about as wrong as it could get. A 32 year old Norwegian from the extreme right, a Christian fundamentalist has been arrested, and I'm just - what the fuck was he thinking? I mean, bomb the government, sure, why not, I suppose I can see the logic, but shooting teenagers? Children?! What the fuck was he thinking???!!!

"Get 'em while they're young, before they breed more leftist pinko commies"? Or something horrible along those lines would be my guess, anyway.
