107. Trolljegeren
Okay, so this movie is half Blair Witch project, half nature documentary, with some government conspiracy thrown in for good measure. We follow three students doing some sort of journalism project, following a man they suspect of being a poacher - only, as it turns out, he isn't. In fact, he's a government employee - because apparently, Norway has trolls. Huge, furry, smelly, stupid, two-legged animals, living in special reservations. And when one of them wanders off the reservations, well, then it's time for the troll hunter to go to work. I love the details - like the fact that if you want to hunt trolls, you really, really don't want to be Christian - they'll smell you. And eat you. (Though they didn't seem to have an issue with Muslims...). And Hans the troll hunter was quite BAMF (and I halfway suspect that he and Bobby Singer must be hanging out on the same internet forums...)

108. Doctor Who season 6.
Eleven seems to have grown on me - even though the main plotline-time-tangle is beginning to feel, well, too tangled and maybe a tad predictable (somehow I suspect the question will be asked (and answered???) at the end of season seven?) I quite liked the time-tangled world and I liked the Gaiman episode with the human TARDIS (the TARDIS stole itself a Doctor :-)!!!), even though it did feel more Gaiman than Doctor Who. And I like Rory (more than Amy I fear) and his ability to be a puppy most of the time and then be completely BAMF when someone dares to actually seriously threaten his wife. And I (like most of fandom, if I remember correctly) quite liked Vastra & Jenny and Canton (actually, I'm sort of hoping that the new, secret Doctor goes back and invites Canton for along for adventures in the next season, but then, another part would like Mark Sheppard being busy being evil and sneaky and generally Crowley, but you know how it is).

109. Rango
Quite a fun western and the small desert creatures version of the wild west is clever - I just wish most of the plot didn't make me want to fastforward (not that it's not good, it's just hitting one of my - what's the word for something that's not a squick, not that far, but not something you like either?)

110. Malcolm X
Okay, there's all the clever and intelligent commentaries - I'll just leave them to others, I think, and settle for wonder if people ever really dressed like that. Seriously, those great, big floppy hats?!

111. Megamind - the Button of Doom
Cute.

112. Thor - Tales of Asgard
Sadly, this didn't exactly improve my opnion of Thor - basically, he starts the plot by being a spoiled brat and - despite being the cause of every bit of real trouble in it, blundering around, trespassing right and left and generally pissing people off - at the end, there's nothing but praise for him. Also, Odin continues being less than stellar at being a parent, the dark elf is - predictably - a traitor. I like teen!Loki being clever wth magic and clearly valueing his family beyond measure and all that, but overall - I wonder why Thor didn't get exiled sooner. (Also, I really hope whatever canon this is doesn't have Loki as parent of Sleipnir and Fenrir, because he did seem a bit young - and since Odin has Gungnir, well, I hope that story is not like the myths too...)

113. (A)sexual
Well, it didn't actually say anything I hadn't already heard - and I might possibly have spent a bit too long distracted by David Jay's ears... - still, a very good documentary.
