Any advice?

Okay, so I think I'm going to have to make an Almighty Johnsons lj com, in the hope that other people will come out of the woodwork and be willing to talk to me about it. However, as I haven't tried to make a com before, I was wondering - does anybody have any useful advice?

Also, I need a better Almighty Johnsons Icon, but this one will do for now. I'll take a ficlet prompt from anybody who can tell me which one of them is the granddad - and no googling!

I know, I know, but even though I post from dw these days, I'm still more present at lj. Which is why almighty_fandom has now been born on lj.

You know, I really don't get why there isn't a fandom for The Almighty Johnsons already. I mean, yes, it's from New Zealand, but honestly, it's like fandom-nip - angsty, fucked up family dynamics, urban fantasy world with plenty of room for your own expansions, hot guys with a propensity for running around half-dressed, kick-ass women, very well researched use of Norse myth, and it's fun. I mean - I just don't get it. Fandom should be all over this series.
