You know, back in the before, when I was finally getting into writing fan fiction (as opposed to reading fan fiction, which I got into a short time after starting gymnasium and discovering the internet), back when I was still just writing in my first fandom and didn't really consider branching out yet, I used to look at people's lists of fandoms written in and wonder, because how on earth did they manage to write in so very many different fandoms? How? And now I can go to my AO3 and look at the unfolded list of fandoms and oh - that's how.
And of course, compared to some, my list is still pitifully short. And there's so many crossovers on it, which is almost like cheating, really.
Anyway, these days I save my wonder for people who manage to be so very prolific that their stories are numbered in triple-digits, a feat I am probably still at least a few years away from duplicating (and those who write bigbangs and similar, because sadly, I don't seem to have the finish-the-really-long-stories gene :-( ).
