The story I wrote for the [livejournal.com profile] xover_exchange has been posted. Yay!*

Sadly, my recipient defaulted somewhere along the way, so my story is posted as "for the community". And honestly? I find myself - kind of disappointed about that. I wrote the story based on that person's prompts, worried whether they'd like it - and now they won't even know this was the story written for them. I mean, people will probably read it - I already have some nice comments - but it's kind of - I dunno? You know?

*The mods would like people to wait until after all the exchange fic has been posted before we post our stories elsewhere, so I'll do a proper pimp post later, once I get it on AO3.

*hugs* That is so annoying. Also, fewer readers, not so much feed back, and especially when the person in question can't acknowledge it.

Just wrote a 30K fic for someone in one of the X-mas exchanges, and despite being posted with their name on it, the person not so much as cared to say thank you. Lots of comments and kudos, and I'm totally happy with the fic, but damn. At least your recipient is not directly rude as they don't necessarily figure out it was meant for them.

Oops. Sorry... went on a rant there... :)
