I wonder how long it will be before some pizza place starts selling horse pizza: Tastes like pizza should taste!

Also, instead of whining all day long, the Danish sheep farmers ought to realize that they have a golden opportunity to contribute to the national fight against unemployment: Bring back the shepherd!

Does anybody else think The Vikings might be worth a watch? 'Cause I kind of do.

I legit snorfled so hard. OMG, perfect solution, I'm sure it will soon battle 'messenger' and 'street sweeper' as most sought after jobs :oP

My instinctive reaction to The Vikings trailer was to slowly take a step away from my computer screen o.o But it might be sort of awesome in a terrible way?

Yeah, that trailer is very HBO-ish. And I am a little annoyed with a Scandinavian set series with a cast mostly made up of, well, not Scandinavians. Still, I like the Viking age (and Norse myth) and I'm willing to take the chance of the series being too HBO. At least for an episode or two.

Well, it is an HBO production. For better or worse, well-produced is the least I'd expect from them.

Heh, good point. And I do think it's a good idea. If they only do more with it than standard HBO violence and "grrrargh, vikings!!!"

Apparently, the series creator has previously made such works as The Tudors, the two Elizabeth movies and The Borgias. I have hope (also, if ever there was a setting appropriate for the standard HBO violence, then surely it is this one?)

I am so totally watching The Vikings! It'll either be wonderful or horrible, but probably horrible in a wonderful sort of way. Either way, entertainment!
