You know what? I really enjoyed that. I really, really enjoyed that. That was a really, really good episode. More than that, that was a really good end of series episode. Which is actually a rare thing. And it's a basically happy ending. Bittersweet, yes, like endings are, but basically it's happy - everybody lives! (OK, except Martin...)That's rare, isn't it? Things work out. And the implications that more things will work out. I liked it. I really liked it.

One scene I kinda would have liked in this episode, though, would have been the Johnsons and co. contacting (or trying to) the various other gods they know, give them a heads up about the Gar and its consequences. I mean, suddenly not having anybody know who you are? Poor Gaia. Poor Suzie. Poor Derrick. Poor - yeah, you get my drift. (Not poor Joe - he's an ass).

Anyway, maybe it'll be a deleted scene. And it was a good episode. And a good ending.

Now, here's to hoping they don't make a season 4.* And to decide whether to change my plans for my Yuletide request to be "all the post-canon stuff" - nah. Don't think so.

Yeah, there's a couple of hooks they could do it from - like the glowing stone Colin threw. But honestly, no, this works just fine. Thank you.
