99. Dirk Gently
I must admit this is not going to be a favourite. I quite liked the pilot with the temporal paradox cat, but honestly, it never quite felt that awesome - mostly, it reminded me of Sherlock without ever being as awesome.
100. Dexter season 6.
No, they killed Brother Sam. I liked Sam :-(
101. 1776
A bit too long and a bit too - well, I suspect you might have to be American to really, truly enjoy this. Or possibly you just have to not be me. Ah well...
102. The Beast
I still maintain that Travis Fimmel should never be seen without a beard. That said, he does have this lean, hungry wolf thing going here - the more I see of his earlier work, the more I get why they picked an Australian underwear model to play Ragnar Lothbrok.
103. Broen season 1.
So, I gave this a second try, having been scared off by the Scandinavian noir / chopped in half bodies back when it was originally shown. It's okay - I do like Martin and Saga's friendship and I rather enjoyed Saga's poor would-be boyfriend. But the crime part - sometimes I wonder where the hell it's coming from, this tendency. I mean, barring a few spectacular exceptions, Scandinavia isn't normally overflowing with depraved serial killers and the like, so why this trend?
104. In the Flesh season 1.
So, where's all the fix-it making-it-all-better fic?
105. The Almighty Johnsons season 3.
Well, I think this was my least favourite season. Actually, I know it was. It started far too slowly and the writers seemed to be catering far too much to the "Anders is a poor woobie" segment, which just... There were some cool moments, like when the boys finally get around to facing down Colin. Also, while the Frigg plot felt rushed in the end, I will maintain that the season ending episode was excellent and I actually hope they don't make a season 4, because as a series ending it nicely rounds off the story they started telling all the way back in season 1, episode 1, right down to a number of parallels.
106. Justified season 2.
I must admit, I adore Raylan and Boyd's friendship - because they are friends, they really are. It's just that they are also lawman and criminal and very often find themselves on opposite sides of a given conflict and occasionally they try to kill each other, but that doesn't mean that they're not friends.
