107. Treme season 2.
Hmm. This felt a lot less indignant than season 1., all in all. Oh, we're still getting plenty of people fighting the system or getting depressed because of the troubles of the rebuilding, but they've made the sympathetic cop a bigger character and there seems to be a sense of optimism this season - not pure, not without set-backs, but still. The city of New Orleans might be down, but you're left with a feeling that it's going to get back on it's feet.

108. Cloud Atlas
Well, I liked it better than I remember liking the book, so there's that.

109. Hrafninn flýgur
A teacher showed us this in high school, but frankly, I remembered precious little, even rewatching. Anyway, this is a very good movie - very 80s, but well, that can't really be helped. It's basically a western, really - mysterious stranger arrives and loads of people die and loads of dramatic focusing on eyes (it even has a quick draw duel climax) - except it's set in Iceland during the days of Harald Finehair's reign in Norway. It has excellent fight scenes, loads of Northmen riding around on tiny Icelandic horses (which, when you're used to seeing movies where Viking type people ride around on big horses, makes an interesting change) - also, I adore the Icelandic farms, the way they're made. One is basically in a big cave, the other is constructed up the side of a cliff - they're awesome.

110. The Secret of Kells
First, I'd like to take a moment to officially bitch about the fact that Danish dvds of animated movies for children apparently can't be bothered to offer the original soundtrack. I mean, it's not like the bloody thing is brimming with bonus material either, would it really be so hard to add the original soundtrack and some subtitles :-(

Anyway, apart from that, it's - a gorgeous movie. The animation's beautiful (and occasionally scary - those are some very demonic looking Vikings). The story of is fine - admittedly, I find the idea of a Sidhe girl helping a young monk to protect and write a Bible mildly ironic, but still - it's good. And gorgeous.

111. Warm Bodies
It's fun. And it makes sense that a zombie AU of Romeo and Juliet should end with both of them alive. Admittedly, the show never quite managed to explain how the zombies could all overcome the New Hunger, but still - it's fun.

112. Cirque du Soleil: Worlds Away
Very pretty. I really should get around to going to see Cirque du Soleil one of the times they drop by Copenhagen, shouldn't I? If only they weren't quite so expensive...
