Sherlock - reactions as I watch

I did not expect Sherlock to be giving me potential OT3 feels. I hope Mary keeps being awesome.

I could have lived without Anderson yelling at the (predictably short and fat) slash fangirl. And I was just beginning to like the guy after the mini-episode.

I remember seing a gifset once, explaining how Sherlock survived, and it had Watson feeling for his pulse and not finding it - and then an appropriate picture from the Robert Downey Jr. movie. And then in Sherlock's version he used the same trick. I wonder if somebody's been tracking fandom - actually, all the scenarios, I suspect somebody's been definitely following fandom.

I'm also feeling the Mary love! I could do with some OT3 there. And the bit on the roof with Moriarty was total fanservice. Not that I have a problem with that. Though I, too, thought the short, heavy, overly goth slash fangirl was unnecessary. At least she wasn't a 45 year old housewife, I suppose. Also LOVED Cumberbatch's parents' little role as Sherlock's parents! I hope they'll be back.

Mary is awesome and needs all the love.

I found Sherlock's parents - sweet, but, well. Their run-of-the-millness jarred against the earlier smart-one conversation between Mycroft and Sherlock, which seemed to imply (at least to me) a darker childhood than I'd expect from those two as parents.

One of these days there's going to be a slash fangirl in a show that doesn't come across as a bad joke. And on that day, that show will reach heretofore unseen heights (probably of illegal downloads, but still...)
