I just watched episode two of Bitten, HBO's new werewolf show. It's not really catching my interest properly - which is a shame, because, well, werewolves. I mean, I like the family/pack dynamic and I'm liking the friend/baby brother thing Nick has with Elena, but Elena herself is a bit meh, honestly, and her dynamic with Clay is just plain creepy and also, well, crappy CGI werewolves, though aren't they almost always?
Anyway, I'm thinking one more episode, see if it's got something really going for it, but I suspect it won't have.
Also watched Black Sails, and guess my pirate age-of-sail infatuation has faded beyond repair - it's just. There's not really any of the characters that's catching my interest - though I'll give it a second chance, but again, I doubt it.
Good thing it will be Vikings time soon. I miss my show.

I am dragging my way through Black Sails ep 1 - it is okay, and I like the production (everything looks good, yet appropriately dirty), and I'm loving the racial diversity, though not the gender roles. IDK, I am hanging on because PIRATES, but there's just so much talk with overeager actors trying to convey the Utmost Importance of every other sentence. Don't give me plot, just give me plunder!
