29. Die Tür
I liked it well enough - though really, why do all the doubles have to kill their originals? At least Mads Mikkelsen's character was an accident - though it certainly is an interesting contrast to the stories where a child's parent is replaced with a monster and nobody suspects...
30. Once Upon A Time In Wonderland
I rather liked this - the Once Upon A Time franchise are pretty good at villains, though most of them tend to end up on the heroes side in the end. And it does have the sappiest happy end of a tv show I can remember seeing. But then, it's a fairytale - it's appropriate.
31. The Call of Cthulhu
This was great fun (even if the cinema had some issues with the audio) - the whole movie was gorgeous, black-and-white silent movie with way too much eyeliner on everybody and a very German Expressionist feel, particular in the dream and R'lyeh sequences.
32. Snowpiercer
This was gorgeous - though probably more a commentary on things than intended as a story to take apart and end up with credible worldbuilding. I kept wondering where stuff came from - I mean, for instance, there were eggs and a slaughterhouse cart, but I never noticed any large number of living livestock. Even the amounts of cockroaches used for the protein bars seemed out of scale... nevermind. I wouldn't mind a chance to see it with the Korean lines subtitled - it worked quite well not knowing what those characters were saying the first time, but I am still left wondering, you know?
33. True Detective season 1.
I wonder how many people watched this without realizing it's set in a Lovecraftian universe?
34. The Labyrinth
Have you any idea how many years it's been since last I watched this movie? Because I don't... and I still remembered almost every bit!
35. Husbands season 1.
I suppose I should get around to watching season 2.
