First of all: hello! Thank you so much for being willing to write me a story. I am going to love it, I promise. You are awesome.

Right, on to my requests. First, a few general things (and I admit these lists are copy/pasted from my yuletide letter).

Things I generally like in fic: slash and gen; plot; snark; fluff; happy endings; awesome characters being awesome; crack; twisty plots; surprises.
Dislikes & squicks: non-con; a/b/o, seme/uke, sub/dom and any and all similar power dynamic tropes; very kinky sex (heavy bdsm, watersport, etc.); underage; kidfic; bestiality; mpreg; pwp; genderswap; incest; character bashing; OC love interests; full-scale AUs (you know, like high school or coffee shop?).

And on to being a bit more specific about the requests. I should say, I don't actually have any specific themes in mind for these - they're a bit random, I must admit. Anyway. I'm just going to throw a bunch of ideas out there - if one of them inspires you, cool. If not, well, at least this should be giving you a general idea of which way my story taste runs.

Request 1.: Vikings, Marvel Cinematic Universe, X-Men (movie-verse), Highlander the series, Doctor Who.

Ideas:

Vikings/MCU: please no Thor and Loki - the Marvel versions are too different from the myths, to. Right. Anyway. Tony Stark/Jane Foster/somebody accidentally invents time travel?

Vikings/X-Men: Rather long-lived viking mutants hanging about? Or maybe an x-man doing historical research finds interesting stories from the sagas that might possibly have been a mutant? Or both?

Vikings/Highlander: Well, Methos is certainly old enough to have dropped by Kattegat or been at King Ecbert's court. Or Charlemagne's. Maybe he was at Charlemagne's court and met Athelstan and taught him Norse? Or maybe somebody turns out to be Immortal - maybe Athelstan? Maybe the sacrifice in Uppsala went through despite him being Christian, only then he woke up on the tree...

Vikings/Doctor Who: I am of the conviction that Athelstan would make a perfect companion for the Doctor. Alas, Ragnar would insist on coming along, and next thing you know, the TARDIS has pretty much been invaded by vikings...

MCU/X-Men: In this one, I'd really prefer it the crossover didn't assume that these two verses are happening in the same. Rather, it would be kinda cool to see some moving back and forth between parallel worlds - one with mutants and one with SHIELD/HYDRA/etc. Maybe some of the First Class x-babies (Hank, Quicksilver?) accidentally end up in MCU and cause trouble and misunderstandings, and when SHIELD finally has them rounded up (and maybe somebody's holding a gun at them - think: absolutely the worst moment), that's when Charles and Erik show up to get the kids back...

MCU/Highlander: Steve Rogers. In 21st century New York he turns around and sees a familiar face - perhaps the really old guy. Perhaps Duncan - I mean, Duncan did run around in Europe during WWII, working with the French Resistance - maybe they met before...

MCU/DW: UNIT being distinctly unimpressed with SHIELD. Or Captain Jack being very impressed with Captain Rogers...

X-Men/Highlander: I bet Methos would give Charles a headache. Or maybe Amanda had this lovely, blue girl for an apprentice back in the 70s?

X-Men/DW: Amy and Rory not even batting an eye at the X-men weirdness. Or maybe Logan was old friends with Madam Vastra? Maybe Vastra's still around (how old can Silurians get, anyway?) and somebody mistakes her for a mutant?

Highlander/DW: Once in a while, this young man (who never seemed to age) would stop by where Rory kept watch and have a beer with him (well, Rory couldn't have any, but - you know. It's the thought that counts.)

Request 2.: Vikings, Highlander the series, Sleepy Hollow, Sanctuary, Supernatural, Welcome to Night Vale.

Vikings/Sleepy Hollow: Well, the Vikings did discover America. And if a guy could sleep 250 years, why not 1200? (I wonder if Crane-of-the-many-languages knows Anglo-Saxon?)

Vikings/Sanctuary: Maybe one of the Vikings characters was actually a very long-lived sort of abnormal - something appropriately Norse. Maybe Jotuns were actually real? Or trolls? Or the huldra?

Vikings/Supernatural: Accidental time travel is always a favourite - the Winchesters ending up stuck in the past, with no wifi and very limited ammo? Or having to cope with a bunch of big, burly vikings and a nice, Latin-speaking monk who is far too polite to comment on their limited vocabulary and weird pronounciation?

Vikings/Welcome to Night Vale: It's Night Vale. A door opens, there are vikings, Carlos does science and Cecil has to keep the vikings from abducting him, because why wouldn't they want to abduct a scientist with perfect hair?

Highlander/Sleepy Hollow: Somebody (Duncan? Methos?) arrives in Sleepy Hollow to investigate all the decapitations and Crane manages to nearly get hit by a car when he suddenly spots a familiar face. Or maybe the Watchers mistake Crane for a new Immortal?

Highlander/Sanctuary: The truth is, Helen isn't long-lived because of the vampire blood. The vampire blood killed. She's long-lived because she's Immortal. (Her father never did tell her that she was adopted).

Highlander/Supernatural: Winchester's investigating decapitations getting in the way of Duncan investigating decapitations. Or Methos having some very choice (and not very polite) words about that ridiculous bunch of wannabee Free Masons that called themselves the Men of Letters).

Highlander/Welcome to Night Vale: Methos' favourite vacation spot.

Sleepy Hollow/Sanctuary: Helen Magnus is called in by authorities to investigate. Or maybe Tesla drops by? I do adore Tesla.

Sleepy Hollow/Supernatural: Well, there's certainly plenty for a couple of Hunters to investigate. Or maybe Sam seeks out the Sleepy Hollow crews help in order to save his brother? Or maybe Crowley is fed up with Abaddon and his apocalypse plans...

Sleepy Hollow/Welcome to Night Vale: Road trip to find out something - at least this is one place where nobody thinks Crane is weird. Though the radio show narrating their every move is unsettling. But they need angels and there are angels. Or something?

Sanctuary/Supernatural: I doubt Helen would take kindly to the Winchester trying to kill anything under her watch. No, not even Jack the Ripper (besides, he got a pardon - and he did kill Hitler). Or write me Charlie/Helen.

Sanctuary/Welcome to Night Vale: Tesla having a secret lab in Night Vale, doing secret science and being science buddies with Carlos?

Supernatural/Welcome to Night Vale: Night Vale would eat those boys alive.

Request 3.: Vikings, X-men (movie-verse), Sanctuary, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Once Upon A Time, MCU.

Vikings/Buffy the vampire slayer: And we're back to the time travel.

Vikings/Once Upon A Time: Or magical portals and wide-eyed monks unknowingly possessing magical tomes and really pissed off viking Ragnar actually getting to kill a dragon.

X-Men/Sanctuary: Charles the mutant professor meeting Helen Magnus the abnormal researcher - maybe at Oxford? Arguments over terminology, bonding over ex-boyfriends that turn into monsters, all sorts of stuff.

X-Men/Buffy: No, Buffy, you can't kill him. I know he's blue and furry, that still doesn't mean he's a demon.

X-Men/Once Upon A Time: Maybe the X-verse is yet another realm? Or maybe somebody road trips and sees a woman making trees move or something?

Sanctuary/MCU: Maybe Helen Magnus chooses to give Sanctuary to the person sometimes referred to as the Hulk - and doesn't take kindly to anybody trying to abduct him. Or maybe Tesla makes friends with Tony Stark.

Sanctuary/Buffy: This would be another one of those Helen Magnus doesn't take kindly to people trying to kill her people. Alternatively, I doubt Tesla would appreciate meeting a vampire slayer (but no killing him!)

Sanctuary/Once Upon A Time: Henry Foss meeting Red. Or maybe Jack the Ripper strolls into town.

Buffy/Once Upon A Time: Earth has magic. It always had. It's simply - different than the one in The Magical Forest, different wavelengths, and so nobody can sense it. But when the curse breaks, it causes a ripple effect - and people get curious and come to investigate. Maybe a mad vampire woman, maybe a certain red-headed witch?

Buffy/MCU: SHIELD (and HYDRA) are always looking for new recruits. Or maybe Spike ate some HYDRA people back in the day?

MCU/Once Upon A Time: SHIELD stumbles upon Storybrook, gets a bit paranoid, overreacts - and ends up facing a very determined and magical resistance.
