1. Sherlock: The Abominable Bride
I did like the reimagning of Sherlock's details as Victorian, though I could have lived without the Ku Klux Suffragettes - seriously?

2. The Tudors season 2.

3. Macbeth
Absolutely gorgeous visually, but frankly too long-winded for my tastes.

4. London Spy season 1.
I hope there's a second season

5. The Borgias season 3.

6. The Tudors season 3.

7. Penny Dreadful season 2.

8. Justified season 5.


So, strictly speaking this post should have been "Movie and tv series of January".

How did you like the second season of (Penny) Dreadful Sweaters?

I actually liked the sweaters. And the Cutwife's house and the parts there. And Lily turning out to be bloody scary. Also, yay! Werewolf! (Not the best looking werewolf, but it works as a reference to the old movies, so...)

I do hope the season ending for season three won't involve Vanessa being in some danger and all her menfolk rushing in to save her. It's getting repetitive. Though at least she saved herself - a lot.

Vanessa's getting pretty bloody scary herself, isn't she?
