Things I look forward to - for the rest of this year, anyway

• Christmas - not many surprises there, really. I have always loved Christmas, and look, it is almost here again. We even have a Christmas tree now - my dad put it up and decorated it yesterday (though for some reason the many wrapped gifts lying about has yet to be put under it - strangely enough).
• Crazy Christmas Cabaret - for which I have myself a ticket to a pretty good seat on the 23rd, bought months ago - a habit I have since the good seats go fairly quickly if you wait too long, and it is my Christmas tradition to go see the Cabaret and I do not want to miss it, ever. And it is saying something that I have a hard time deciding whether it is the CCC or ordinary plain Christmas that I am looking forward to the most.
• Familien Gregersen - which has sadly gotten some fairly lukewarm reviews, but so what, I never agree with reviewers anyway. In fact, there was one Danish movie reviewer - pretty famous, actually - and you could be absolutely certain that if he liked it then the movie was not worth seeing, but if he hated it, then you should definitely go see it. Anyway, I want to see Familien Gregersen, even if it is 3½ hours long - the trailer might give you a clue as to why, or maybe not.
