Strolling through a kræmmermarked while melting in the sun. Now that's what I call summer :-)

(and no, I'm not sure what kræmmermarked is in English and I am too lazy today to try and find out)

I tried and the closest I could find was supermarket. I'm not sure that's right though. LOL

No, most certainly not supermarket. It's like an oversize garage sale, flea market, market fair-thing. And there a lots and lots of them, all over the place, in the summer.

*finds online Danish-English dictionary, looks up: kræmmermarked, reads: hucksters’ market. Whatever that is*

Hmm...never heard of that but I get what you mean

From what Krämermarkt is in German I'd say it's a flea market. But don't rely on that information. ;)

We didn't have too much sun last weekend, at least not where I was. When I was in Hof, it was raining. On the motorway, it was raining. And when I came home, there was sunshine for about 30 minutes before the sun set. GRAH. I hope next week will be better.

Flea market will have to do, I suppose - although I'm not entirely happy with it. To me, flea markets are something very small, more like the baby version of a kræmmermarked - as well as missing some of the things that belong to one... Ah well, I suppose that's what I get for trying to translate a concept...

We have sun. Sun, sun, sun. Lots of sun. And weather forecasts promises more sun for a few days yet :-)
