The Libertine trailer has made me, if possible, even more eager to see this movie. Especially because I swear that that was Jack Davenport's voice talking about naked, dancing women (or maybe I'm just beginning to hear him everywhere - is that a bad sign? ;-) Unfortunately, there still seems to be no sign of a release date for my area...

Wild guess about the why of Jack's words: Maybe it's from a scene were he's reading one of Rochester's plays? After all, we are talking about the man who wrote such classics as the poem "Signior Dildo"...

The scene is from the single production mounted of Rochester's "Sodom", the Oh Calcutta of it's day written especially for Charles II. *G* I believe JackDav plays one of the leading actors and he's either reading the stage directions or, more likely, it's a voice over.

GAH! I cannot wait! Too excited...must write more Rochester fics....
