The 5th sentence on page 122 (describing the wood pigeon) says:
It is a heavily built bird with a notably small head, conspicuous white wing-bars, a strong clipping flight, and a repetitive cooing - "take two coos, boo-boo" - when perched; it nests at any time and in a wide variety of sites.
I'll be listening out for that now ("take two coos, boo-boo"!). I didn't know they nested at any time in a wide variety of sites, so I've learnt something there!
