You know, I have always thought it would be a nice twist to a vampire story to have one of those people who have their heart in the right side of the body made into a vampire.

Try to imagine, let's see. Oh yes. Imagine a Buffy the Vampire Slayer story. Slayer is out hunting vampires, vamps appears, Slayer stakes one and is already turning away, already focusing on her next opponent, because this one should be a slowly settling cloud of dust right about then, except, well, it isn't. Most likely the Slayer and her cohorts would assume they were dealing with some sort of mystical power, something like the Gem of Amara, and research counter spells and similar. Maybe the vamp with the stake-immunity manages to set itself up as something special, maybe not. Maybe it even brags of it, accidentally revealing the cause (if the vamp itself even knows it, that is). Anyway, sooner or later the good guys figure out the true nature of the problem - of course, after that it's either just a matter of a stake applied to the right place or maybe decapitation or sunlight or something else. The fun would be the mystery.

Anyway, I wonder if anybody has ever made a story about a vampire with the heart in the right side...

Would make for a funny story, only... It wouldn't work that way in real life since the heart is not really situated to the left, it's in the middle and just fills out a bit more on the left than the right. So... Argh, sorry to be a party pooper!

Well, I wasn't planning a story, just thinking. Besides, there are no vampires in real life either (except mosquitoes and leeches and vampire bats and... alright, so there are vampires in real life), but that doesn't stop people from making stories about them.
