Is it just me or is there quite a few tiny clips from PotC2 appearing in these days? You know - the second trailer, the ET special. And today I stumbled across yet another, an ultrashort sort-of-behind-the-scenes clip (which you can see if you go over here and then do the whole right-click-and-save-as on the Extra in the little box on the bottom right). It's mostly stuff seen before, but there is this brief glimpse of scruffy!James -

and Elizabeth talking about somebody who went mad and hung himself. I wonder who she's talking about. *looks at cast list on Imdb for people not present in new movie* *considers* Hmm, Gillette seems to be missing - maybe Elizabeth is telling James that he went mad because he was missing James or something... or maybe I'm just silly. Ah well.

None of the old POTC1 characters. New one who does not appear because already dead from the start. *grin*

Sounds like somebody has been reading spoilers. (something that I am personally trying to keep to an absolute minimum - though I can't seem to get enough of film clips).

And if Gillette is not dead and not on the cast list, then where might he be - has he eloped with a mermaid?

I just posted some of my theories on that in my journal, but I have not been reading the novelisation spoilers, so dauntless knows more than me.

Knowing is overrated, unless it is because one has actually seen the film. But I must admit to being addicted to clips...
