Time after time

If I was ever going to make my own layout for LJ - which I am not, partly because my account type doesn't have that as a possibility, but primarily because me and graphics are rarely a good match - I would want something based around this picture. It fascinates me. Almost every time I see it, I seem to be able to find something new to notice. I'd love to see it in full size, in real life, but I'm fairly sure that would mean going to Varde and I don't really have any good excuses to do so, but it is a thing to remember for the next time I'm in Jutland (along with spending a night aboard the frigate Jylland...)

Hmm, I wonder if one could cut out a bit of it and use as a userpicture? Maybe the guy in the tricorn, next to the punkers... or maybe not. Me and graphics, you know.

I've no talent for graphics so can't help, but thanks for linking to that picture. As you say, it's fascinating, and I explored some of his other paintings after that. Weird but wonderful!

Otto Frello is a fascinating painter. Pity he is not more productive, since most of his paintings are pretty good. Still, this one is my favourite :-)
