Am now the proud owner of PotC 2 :-) Of course, I don't really expect to have a chance to watch the whole thing with commentary until the weekend, but have amused myself with watching a couple of the featurettes-thingies.
Mastering the blade is okay - especially the Jack Davenport part. (I already knew there weren't any deleted scenes, but I had kind of hoped for a commentary track by JackDav - alas, no such luck. It's a shame, really - you can never have too much Jack Davenport. Still, he's cute in the featurette.) Captain Jack from head to toe is, well, I think it might spawn fanfiction, because it has all these little bits and hints about his whole costume, which is cool. For instance, I have always sort of presumed that the bony thing in Jack Sparrow's hair was from some sort of sea creature, but apparently, it's the shinbone from a reindeer. Which leaves me wanting to read a fic where Jack Sparrow meets Santa Claus. I'm strange that way.
