Yes, I've read that one - as well as "Rum, Sodomy and the Lash - Piracy, Sexuality and Masculine Identity" by Hans Turley, which is also interesting in places, if not exactly the easiest book to read.
And no, I will not stop. But maybe I will rec a book that isn't insanely expensive. Have you read "Swordspoint - a Melodrama of Manners" by Ellen Kushner? It's quite good fantasy, starring a pair of male lovers amidst plenty of swordfights and political intrigue in a world that seems like something around 17th or 18th century. And it's good :-)
