Right, this is a vaguely embarrassing one. It's a vampire tv show. Not really a particularly good vampire tv show. I liked it, though. Vampires have always been a guilty pleasure of mine. And Danish television rarely bothers to offer any, so I have had to make do. Still, I can always live in a happy world where I am free to imagine, that if the series had not been cancelled, then there might eventually (very eventually) have happened something between Frank Kohanek and Julian Luna. Or maybe they could have added some decent werewolves to the mix. Maybe.
methos
Is it pathetic to become interested in a fictive character from fanfics? Having not seen the source material because, as I could rant about for hours on end, Danish television rarely offers the good stuff? (Oddly enough, Highlander - Endgame managed to appear on dvd - if it hadn't, I probably wouldn't even know how to pronounce this correctly). 5000 year old immortal, used to be Death on a Pale Horse, and I like the complicated characters.
the future is wild
This was a series that ran on Animal Planet some years ago. It's in the same vein as all the computer-animated-dinosaur-and-mammoth series, but it was set in the future. Basically, the premise was to examine how animals might evolve. It was actually pretty good. Although the people behind it seemed to be somewhat obsessed with squids...

Kronborg Castle. Most famous single spot in my home town. Found the picture somewhere online, having never actually seen a rainbow over Kronborg. Which reminds me, I really should remember to get a ticket to this year's Hamlet...

yuna_firerose. Because I am and always will be an unrepentant bookworm. And because Johnny Depp is a nice thing to have on a single icon, don't you think?

Well, he seems to be endlessly fascinating. At least, everybody is asking about him. I already kind of explained him for
drbillbongoand, well, I could repeat myself. Or maybe not.
jack shaftoe
Half-cocked Jack Shaftoe, King of the Vagabonds. From Neal Stephenson's brilliant Baroque Trilogy. He's a trickster character, very clever, reminds me about Jack Sparrow in more than just the name (others have been to - there is several Jack Shaftoe/Jack Sparrow stories out there). Alas, the half-cocked part has to be taken literally - horrible accident during a treatment for the pox. Still, he managed to breed first. Actually, there is a pair of Shaftoe boys driving around in the sequel Cryptonomicon (well, actually the Baroque Trilogy is a prequel, but why split hairs?) who must surely one day run into the Winchester brothers. I wonder if anybody has written that...
otto frello
Danish painter. I think he probably fits into the category of surrealism. I find some of his paintings, especially Københavnerbillede, endlessly fascinating. Try and take a look, then tell me if you blame me.
