You know, those eye drops they use to dilate the pupils are pretty fucking annoying. And if I end up having to wait 8 years and then go to Århus, then I am going to track down that Kruckow woman and give her a piece or ten of my mind. Or possibly throw rotten tomatoes at her. Whatever.

But at least now the gears are in motion.

Sorry, that did come out a bit rambling and comfused, didn't it? Thing is, I'm myopic and I've been considering getting laser surgery, and wednesday I finally managed to get myself down to see the eye doctor - and learned several things, including the fact that while a visit to the dentist is definitely a lot worse than a visit to the eye doctor, then those eye drops sting and afterwards they make your vision so annoyingly blurry that you can't even read, which is especially annoying when there is a 2 hour wait between the eye drops and the actual consultation...

At least the doctor thought I'd make a good candidate for the surgery, so now I mostly have to wait for the public healthcare wheels to turn - if they will turn at all, after the nurse strike and all that...
