Help, an invasion - of small birds

Well it is - a lot of small birds all over our courtyard this morning, and a couple of them seemed determined to get in through my window (they did not manage, but still!).

In less silly news, I managed to finish my latest cross stitch

and I have gotten started on my Johnny Depp cross stitch. Now, trouble is that I usually use a different type of thread than the pattern was originally for, so I had to find alternatives - and they might not be entirely correct. I will have to wait and see how the end result looks - so far it is very - orange. Mind you, if it gets to be too orange, I just might get myself a handfull of reds, blues and greens each and pretend I´m Andy Warhol...

Oh yes, I think I mentioned some time ago that I had seen Jack Davenport in The Real Jane Austen? Well, actually I recorded the program - me not actually being home at the time - and sometimes look at him. He looks pretty cute in it. Now, of course I would like to share this cuteness, but trouble is that it is recorded on a videotape and even if I had a dvd-recorded, then I do not have a dvd-reader on my computer. So, I have tried to take pictures with a camera from the screen. Not easy, and not exactly something that turns out so terribly well, but I tried.

Not that the second attempt got all that much better, but he does look pretty cute, doesn´t he?
