I don't want a third minister of state in a row named Rasmussen. I demand equal representation for all last names in our government - or at least an election if the Fjog leaves soon. As it seems he will.

Well, on the bright side, it does make it easier for other world leaders to remember Denmark's PM's name from election to election. Face recognition would be a bit chancy, but they'd nail the name :)

There is a kids show on tv here called Lazy Town and I think it is made in Iceland and nearly everyone in the credits has "dottir" in their name which I find amazing.

Oh, that's just Iceland still using the old naming convention, unlike the rest of Scandinavia. All those ladies in the credits had names ending in "dottir" because, well, they are daughters of someone.
