31. The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor
Do you think those adventurer-archeologists will ever learn to leave well enough alone? Nice dragon, but it's a bit small, isn't it?

32. Watchmen
Why must Hollywood always make everybody pretty? Even Rorschach was, well, not pretty, but he had this Clint Eastwood thing going for him. Why can't people ever be ugly? Also, am I the only one wondering how - in a world where superhero comics and all their cliches fell out of fashion early on - Ozymandias would be able to even compare himself to a comic book villain? Finally, I'd really have liked to see the octopus-thing.

33. Mio min Mio
Not particularly good 80's fantasy. What annoyed me - and probably detracted from my evaluation - was that the dvd only had the Swedish dub for inexpliable reasons. I mean, what's the point? At least a Danish dub I could have understood, since it's a family movie, but why only the Swedish on a dvd for the Danish market? Why not just the original English, cause Christopher Lee dubbed in Swedish is just - weird...

34. The Conclave
I've figured out how the Catholic Church can go about joining the rest of us in the 21st century. It's quite simple. Next time the Pope dies, they should make a reality show out of the selection proces. Simple.

35. Irina Palm
Sounded more interesting than it was. Oh well...

36. The Wire season 1.
This was fun. Hopefully the other seasons will show up too. I liked how it's different than most cop shows, in that some of the cops might seem like the usual idealistic, anything-to-catch-the-bad-guys we see in other shows, but mostly it's politics and compromise and stuff. It was a bit slow to catch me, but once Omar showed up - right, caught.

37. I am Dina
Not that great, even if Christopher Eccleston's is a very nice Russian anarchist.

38. Copra Verde
You'd think a movie that features the amazon army of Dahomey would be awesome, or at least capable of passing the Bechdel test. Sadly, you would be mistaken. I mean, it's a perfectly fine historical drama, but oh, the lost opportunities...

39. Coraline
This is gorgeous and sweet and scary and - right, gushing done. Almost. Squee! But that said, I have one complaint - dear whoever makes those 3D-glasses. One word: pads. My nose thanks you. Cause seriously, wearing those things for that long - ow.

40. A Family at War season 1.
The fun thing about this is actually comparing it to other shows. Later shows. Like Matador or Foyle or Band of Brothers. How the same themes get treated differently in different decades, or even at all. That's interesting.

41. Bon cop bad cop
Bilingual snark ftw. No work of art, but quite funny.

42. 21 Jump Street season 2.
It's sad. There's character development and people have tried hard to find interesting stories (aids, teenage pregnancy, book-burning creationists - even if the "oh-no-teenagers-drink" episode had me rolling my eyes), and they put Johnny Depp in a dress, but I still find myself enjoying this less and less. Also, the police part isn't always so fun when my CSI-jaded self thinks a simple DNA test could solve the bloody case. Also: did people really have all those weird earrings in the 80's?

43. Forbrydelsen season 1.
I confess. It was me. I was the one Dane that couldn't be bothered to watch this when it came out. It's just - when I hear about a new Danish crime series my reaction tends to be: "Not another one?!" I mean, it's not like they make that many Danish tv series and I'm still waiting for just one fantasy or science fiction one. That said, it's quite entertaining. Reminds me a bit of Twin Peaks, actually, minus the weird stuff.

44. Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines
So, let me see if I got it right. This is the future that Sarah Connor Chronicles are trying to prevent, right? John lives through this, then takes steps to try to prevent it. Also, John was kind of a wimp in this. Just saying.

45. Wolverine
Average special effects, lousy script. Gambit was easy on the eyes and seemed charming, but also came across as a bit of an idiot. And as for Deadpool - first they make him pretty and then they made him mute??? The scriptwriters weren't even trying, were they? Didn't stay for the after-the-credits-scene - since I'll have to look for different ones online anyway, figured I'd just look for one more. Simple. Besides, I've had bad experiences with the cinema I was in and after-the-credits-scenes.
