103. Suicide Kings
Well, it's got Christopher Walken playinghimself his usual awesome villain thing, but I am just left wondering what kind of idiot thinks it's a great idea to knowingly kidnap a mafioso...
104. Quills
Oh, very awesome. And now I want the good Marquis to escape and create a new life for himself as a pirate in the Caribbean, except I think that would leave the timeframe somewhat topsy-turvy. Still, awesome.
105. Flickan som lekte med elden
Funny thing is, I know Lisbeth Salander is a Mary Sue. Terrible past, unbowed despite all challenges - remember the Bride from Kill Bill? Kind of like her, only without the swords and with plenty of hacking skills and attitude. So the books were a bit of a guilty pleasure and maybe the movies won't ever qualify as great works of art, but it's still hugely satisfying to watch Lisbeth kick ass (besides, my favourite scene made it into the story - harmless little girl vs. two big scary rockers. Guess who wins?) And the best part is, the third movie premieres later this month :-) (Although someone should tell the cinema that showing trailers for the third movie in a trilogy before the second movie in a trilogy is - kind of bad form).
106. The Wire (season 3.)
Ah, the Wire. You know, it wasn't until randomly checking imdb that I realized that the politician guy was Stuart Alan Jones! I am suck a bad fangirl at times :-( Also, rule 34 has let me down - I have yet to find any McNulty/Omar slash and I am very disappointed.
107. Fame
Kind of average, and I kept waiting for the song - you know the one. I mean, it's alright, but - well, remakes are never quite right. I tried watching the new Knight Rider series and stopped after a few episodes because dammit, that's not KITT (and it's not even the upgraded car, it's the voice- the voice is all wrong).
