Got up at 5.30 to be ready to catch a bus at 6.30 to catch a train to catch the metro to be at school at 8.30, whereupon I apparently learned something until about 16.00, when I could finally head home (which I reached at about 19.00 - blame the public transport). In short, I am tired and very relieved that this is not to be my usual schedule. In fact, because we are going to do some socalled work-related projects this semester, my schedule is pretty much mine to make - that´s nice :-)
Envy is a sin - this I know. Yet I feel it. You see, every year my school has a lot of intro arrangements to welcome the new students, make them feel at home and help them to get to know each other - intro days, intro party, intro cabin trip, that sort of stuff. And every year the intro has a theme. The year I started the theme was horror and the older students doing the welcoming were dressed up as vampires and ghosts and such, and there was fake cobwebs and theatre blood galore, and so on and so forth. It was fun :-)
So why am I envious. Because this year´s theme is pirates. How can I not be envious? All I can do is look at what decorations has not already been taken down (the friday bar actually looks quite nice as a pirate bar) and some pictures on the school´s website. You see, the intro is before the rest of the school starts up, so I couldn´t even get to see it :-(
Ah, but tomorrow the school´s movie club will be showing PotC. Maybe I will put on my homemade (and not entirely succesfull, but it is the thought that counts) sparrington t-shirt and go watch it... or maybe I won´t *shrugs*
