You know, I simply can't recover from the fact that my mother's told me that my grandmother is apparently watching Doctor Who from BBC Entertainment - which is either a sign of the end times or a sign of how much seriously crappy tv they think they can get away with showing these days, making even little old ladies wander over in science fiction land. Take your pick.

Maybe she's been a big fan of Dr.Who since she was a mere slip of a girl? I think it's been on that long, hasn't it?

That would work as a theory if this was the UK, but since we're talking Denmark, and since apart from a couple of episodes shown sometime during the 70's (which wasn't a succes, but what do you expect when you rip bits out midseason and show them to people with no foreknowledge of anything) the good Doctor hasn't really been available around here until the age of internet and dvds and viewers being able to ignore the tv-stations treating them as morons, well - I don't think so. Besides, I think I would have noticed something before know, if that was the case.

Ah, that's very true. I've got so used to watching US TV on the internet that I forgot that that's only been possible for the last 5 years or so.
