First of all, thank you so very, very much for being willing to write a story for little me :-)

Likes: crossovers, slash, character focused tales, twisting plots, happy endings
Dislikes: non-con, slave-fic, very dark tales, mpreg, always-a-girl/boy-AUS, character bashing, very kinky sex (as in very BDSM, watersports, etc), lack of actual plot.

Request 1.
Scandinavia and the World - Sweden, Aaland
No real wishes, apart from a faint hope for adorableness.

Because Sweden/Åland is quite possible one of the most adorable things out there - in their own special way, being BAMF and cute and complete with crazy friends and very dysfunctional family issues.

If you're not familiar with Scandinavia and the World, then it's probably the easiest of my request fandoms to familiarize yourself with, since it's a webcomic and not even a terribly long one, as far as those things go. Actually, you should really go and try some of it. It's awesome. The main characters are the country spirits of various places, centered around the Scandinavian and Nordic countries, and the various plots are a mixture of current events, history, national stereotypes as seen through Scandinavian eyes and all kinds of silliness. Very awesome. Though I should probably say, if you pick this, that while I love seeing my home country mentioned in stories and movies and whatever, then I am also severely allergic to foreign movies, etc. getting it wrong - seriously, don't get me started on, say, The Prince and Me. Just don't. I will love you to bits if you write this fandom, don't get me wrong, but in the name of all that's holy, just, please, you know, just please?

Request 2.
Kindred the Embraced - Frank Kohanek, Julian Luna
I'd love to see a story where Frank gets to meet some other part of the WoD than just the Kindred - maybe the Garou?

Kindred the Embraced is an old love for me - back when I was a teenager and just discovering such joys as the Internet and slash and stuff, it was pretty much the only vampire series shown - very late at night - in Danish television. And I fell. Hard. What I loved, then and now, was actually Frank - who admittedly has some wooden acting - but I love the idea of the muggle character slowly discovering the world behind the masquerade, slowly learning and coming to terms and coping and not just getting rushed into everything, not being forcibly conscripted or somehow expected to know everything already, but actually getting to do this on his own terms, and mostly, I'd love to see more of that. Admittedly, mostly because the Prince was offering him his protection - and that would be my other favourite - and we're notting getting into my brief Mark Frankel crush, no way, but dammit, why did he have to get himself killed, stupid actor - anyway, I loved the interaction between Frank and Julian and, well, here we are. Right. Backing away from shiny fandom now...

Request 3.
Kitty Norville - Cormac Bennett
A story about Cormac - ex-con and werewolf hunter - settling in as part of Kitty's werewolf pack, that would be awesome. Happy threesome fic would be beyond awesome, swiftly entering squee-worthy territory.

The Kitty Norville book series is one out of my two or three favourite urban fantasy series, mostly because they manage to be smart and intelligent and having a tendency to make meta-ish commentary on the entire genre. I like that Kitty is smart and has character development and doesn't degenerate into one of the typical Anita Blake-clones - and I like Cormac, the werewolf hunter that manages to be more all on his own.

Alas, I haven't yet had a chance to read Kitty goes to war :-( I don't mind spoilers that much, really, but I tend to prefer to be able to keep up with plotty bits of fanfic, if you know what I mean?

Request 4.
Vorkosigan saga - Mark Pierre Vorkosigan, Miles Naismith Vorkosigan
Brotherly bonding FTW?

The Vorkosigan saga is actually a new love of mine - I got hold of The Warrior's Apprentice at the library to see why everybody kept talking about it, and about a hundred pages in I broke down and ordered the entire series from amazon. So, yeah. Did you know that almost the entire series (except Memory, for some weird reason) is available for free online? Legally and everything? Even the brand new one?

Anyway, what I love about this series is Miles. Alright, I love the characters and the glimpses of Barrayar's culture and politics and everything, (Actually, in some ways, A Civil Campaign probably shows my favourite parts of the verse - characters and plots and Barrayar changing and managing to stay itself and personalities colliding.) but the thing that sold me was Miles. Seriously, once he hits his stride, he's just. But Mark is very much love too - fucked up Mark in all his glory.  And I'd love these two together (no, not slash, please), because we never got a lot of that. Those two just being brothers. Figuring out how to be brothers. Of course, considering who we're talking about, explosions and xanathos roulette plot pileups and poor Ivan getting dragged in would probably be inevitable, but that is entirely up to you. Just, with those genes, they can't help themselves being awesome :-)

Don't mind me, I'm just a total stranger who's stalking people's Yuletide letters from the post at [livejournal.com profile] yuletide, but I saw your prompt #4 and had to stop and go SQUEEEEEEE MARK & MILES BROTHER BONDING YAYYYY. :> This is basically my perennial Vorkosigan request; it finally got bumped by Dresden Files this year (too many things I want, and only four requests, woe!) so I'm not actually asking for it this year, but this, THIS is what I've wanted ever since reading Mirror Dance back in, oh god, 1998 or so. (I am a total helpless sucker for long-lost brothers; it's always been one of my bulletproof kinks.)

Anyway, hope you don't mind a total stranger showing up to squee at you; it just seems like there aren't very many Vorkosigan fans who really like Mark, and whenever I meet one (which I also did yesterday too, ha, small world) I just have to flail at them like a silly flailing thing.
