I can´t help feeling like it´s a little bit like Christmas today - at least as long as I don´t look out at the wind and the generally bleak weather. Maybe it´s the fact that I had risengrød for dinner, maybe it´s because a new package of dvds came for me today (I have to return them, of course, but still, it feels like a present) :-) So I had myself an evening watching movies.

Watched Shanghai Knights first. An experience that went a little something like this: See bad guy. OMG - that´s Stuart! Hmmm, must remember to dig out videotape with Queer as folk on and watch soon. Oh yeah, the clock scene? Stolen from Olsenbanden, no doubt about that!

Then there was Taxi 3. Sadly, it reminded me that sequels are rarely as good as the first movie - but it also reminded me why I loved the first. It´s mainly due to the two main characters: Daniel (taxi driver whose taxi can morph into a racecar) and Emilien (a cop who simply cannot drive, even though he tries to learn). Was also reminded how very slashy those two are, so I went on the net to see if I could find some Taxi fanfic... I found a grand total of one fanfic - slash, though. And pretty sweet too, actually. :-) (I suspect there is a pile of French fanfic about the movie that I simply cannot get to read due to the language barrier - there has too be. Surely I am not the only one to see the qualities in these movies?!)
